Roger Godin has been involved with the organisation for
some 30 years. He is a Lay Reader and was for 35 years
(on and off!) a member of General
Synod. He succeeded as Chairman in 2003 carrying out the functions
of magazine editor, treasurer, membership secretary and the web site at
various times. From 2008 he is progressively handing over responsibilities
to enjoy a more relaxed retirement!
As a member of General Synod, he was responsible for the high
profile of Christian Initiation discipline in the 1980's debates.
His Private Member's Motion gave rise the important (but disappointing) Reardon
Report. As will be seen in the article in Integrity in

Baptism, he is passionately concerned for lay involvement in Parish Policy
and practice.
